2019 Billy Button Rosso

A blend of 28% Dolcetto, 18% Durif, 17% Refosco, 13% Tempranillo, 12% Pinot Noir, 6% Sangiovese, 4% Nebbiolo and 1% Shiraz, fruit was sourced from the Alpine Valleys and King Valley. Very deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Spicy dark cherry and blackcurrant aromas mix with black olive, earthy tobacco and dried herb notes. Medium bodied dark cherry and blackcurrant fruits are underpinned by bright acidity and chewy tannins with elements of dried herbs, black olive and spicy earth chiming in on the back half. Dry, slightly chalky finish with a robust yet quite savoury medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
