2019 Avinta Old Vine Barossa Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black core with a bright dark red black hue. Aromas of plum, liquorice and fennel intermingle with earthy dried herb and spicy cedar notes. Rich, deeply fruited and plush the palate is flooded with opulent dark plum, liquorice and blackberry fruit with some dark chocolate, vanillin oak, fennel and spice lurking in the background. Superb power and balance with a polished tannin structure and very long, seductive aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
