2019 Apsley Gorge Vineyard Pinot Noir

Aged in new and two year old French oak. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. The nose is greeted with fragrant violet dark to black cherry, strawberry, anise, toasty oak, forest floor and spicy black olive notes. Rich, full and quite plump in texture the palate boasts superb concentration with spicy black cherry, ripe strawberry and anise flavours overlaying toasty oak and earth characters. Good underlying structure with velvet like tannins. Concludes long, ripe and powerful.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
