2019 Amelia Park Cabernet Merlot

Aged in French oak for 12 months. Midnight black in colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Lifted blackcurrant aromas infused with earthy black olive and tobacco leaf are trailed by spicy cedar and bay leaf notes. Medium bodied the palate is layered with spicy red to black currant and ripe mulberry fruits which are underscored by cedary tobacco characters, black olive and traces of capsicum. Slightly dryish, fine grained tannins with a spicy medium to long aftertaste laced with emerging bay leaf.
Cellar 5-6 years.
