2018 Wirra Wirra Woodhenge Shiraz

Matured in a combination of French and American oak barriques and hogsheads of which 40% were new. Magnificent colour saturation featuring an impenetrable inky black core and a very deep bright dark red black hue. Aromas of freshly crushed blackberries, liquorice and blueberries are trailed by vanillin cedar, light earth and blackpepper. Rich blackberry, liquorice and fresh plum fruits flood the medium to full bodied palate. Elements of subtle vanillin cedar, earth and spicy pepper lie underneath. Plush mouthfeel and velvety tannins with a youthful freshness to the long refined conclusion.
