Partially fermented in older French oak barriques. Brilliant water like colour with greenish tinged edges. Pungent herbaceous grassy characters along with gooseberry and citrus aromas jump out of the glass followed by hints of asparagus and capsicum. Riper gooseberry flavours tinged with passionfruit show excellent intensity over some grassy asparagus and lime elements. Nicely textured it finishes dry with crisp acidity and a long aftertaste.
