Founded in 1848 Tiefenbrunner is considered to be a benchmark producer in the Alto-Adige region. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks followed by 4 months aging on lees in concrete tanks to enhance the wines textural qualities.

A textbook expression of Italian Pinot Grigio.

Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of spiced pear, baked apple and light dried honey intermix with hints of quince and faint dried nut notes. Rich pear and ripe red apple flavours create a texturally full impression on the palate with elements of dried honey, citrusy quince and faint traces of nut ensuing. Concentrated and well rounded, it finishes dry with vibrant acidity and a long lingering aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
