2018 San Felice Il Grigio Chianti Classico Riserva

Matured for 24 months in oak. Deep dark red black colour with a dark red to brick red hue. Spicy ripe red currant and dark cherry aromas meld into earth, leather and cedary tobacco notes. Medium bodied with savoury dark currant and red cherry fruits morphing into tobacco, mint, dusty earth, spicy cedar and leather characters. Rustic tannins with a bright, dryish finish and mid length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Black cherries with summer black truffles and dark wood on the nose. A medium-to full-bodied red with medium, round tannins and lovely fruit. It firm and flavorful. Drink now, but can age nicely.
