Matured in French oak for 18 months. Dark red in colour with a light red hue. Perfumed aromatics of violets, red cherries, winter strawberries and a whiff of sour cherries blossom from the glass followed by fresh herb, forest floor and spicy cedar notes. Delicious red fruits are complimented by a dash of sour cherry, fresh herb infusions, forest floor, a subtle meatiness, stalk and spicy cedar. Vibrant acidity lends freshness and finely grained tannins structure. Concludes long, savoury and elegant.
