Introducing our first Nicks Secret release from Heathcote, perfectly aged and ready to enjoy. Matured for 24 months in a mix of new and seasoned French oak, this biodynamically grown Shiraz is entering it’s peak drinking window and offers exceptional value at just $16.99.

Rich, concentrated, glossy textured and primed for drinking, this delivers great bang for your buck.

Deep midnight black heart with a very dark red hue. Pronounced aniseed, dark plum and fennel scents waft across the top of the glass followed by subtlety smoked vanillin cedar, earthy leather and pepper notes. Boasting excellent concentration and depth, rich liquorice, dark plum, black cherry and fennel flavours make a plush entry on to the medium to full bodied palate. Smoky vanillin cedar, earthy leather and peppered meat elements unfold across the back half. Velvety yet structured tannins. Glossy textured it has a long, peppered meat infused finish.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.

Certified biodynamic; 10% whole bunches, matured in new and used French oak barriques and puncheons for two years. The winemaker chose to release the 2019 before the 2018. A smart decision, given the upfront appeal of the '19. The '18 offers a darker intensity but boasts a similar beautiful balance. Deep perfume and flavours rich in Heathcote blackberries, cassis, pastille, bramble, wild bushland aromatics and inviting spice. Moves like a distance runner, fine tannins, firm and sleek. Drink by 2032.
