Deep youthful dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright dark red hue. Elevated ripe cherry, violet and red currant aromas flow from the glass followed by some dusty cedar, fresh herbs and spice. Light in weight, the palate is deliciously fruited with ripe red cherry, red currant and winter strawberry flavours which are underpinned by dusty earth, infusions of fresh herbs and spice. Finishes with a beautiful freshness, slightly dryish tannins and an aftertaste that’s both savoury and elegant.
