2018 Indigo Beechworth Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of black cherries and liquorice infused with smoked meats are followed by earth, vanillin cedar and blackpepper notes. Medium weighted the palate features a mix of dark plum, black cherry and liquorice fruits over scorched earth, meaty characters, vanillin cedar and pepper. Fine grained tannins concluding with a ripe yet savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Hand-picked fruit. Wild-yeast fermented with 10%, whole bunches. On skins for 14 days , matured 22 months in oak. Another strong example of Beechworth shiraz. Medium-bodied and lovely, rippling with high spice and crunchy, fresh-berried red fruits. Red cherry and plum, cinnamon and graphite. It's all about fragrance, fruit purity and tannins. Seamless. Drink by 2028.
