2018 Guthrie Clover Fields Light Red

A blend of Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, Syrah and a dash of Chardonnay aged in a mix of seasoned barrels and stainless steel tanks. Semi translucent dark red colour with a light red hue. Delicate sour to red cherry scents are overlaid by herbs, forest floor and spice. Light, elegant and supple in body, the palate has a savoury flavour profile of cherries, strawberry and rhubarb with undertones of forest floor and spicy herbs. Dryish finish with polished tannins, bright acidity and a medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
