Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Nosing offers up aromas of nectarine, dried pear and gun flint with some light bees wax and cashew notes also evident. Medium weighted with a flinty feel the palate serves up nectarine and pear fruits over grapefruit, faint cashew and infusions of gun flint. Finishes dry with fresh acidity and an elegant medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
Alc. 12.5%

Other Reviews….
I’m placing my bets on this one.
It’s tight and reserved but it looks for all the world like it will develop into something special. It tastes of bran, fennel, malt, oyster shells, nashi pears and nectarines, all of which carry long through the finish. It’s a juicy chardonnay, built on acidity, with a distinct impression of purity, but it also manages to be inherently complex. It rocked me back on my heels a little. Drink 2020-2027+
