2018 Chateau Coutet
Lush, creamy and overt, with almond, ginger cream and maple notes draped over a dried apricot core. Displays good oomph but needs to stretch out a bit.
James Molesworth - Wine Spectator
Pleasant center palate to this young Barsac. Medium-bodied and very sweet, but lacks a bit of botrytis for me.
This wine's ripeness is intense, just hinting at an impressive future. The dry core of botrytis balances the honey and the spice, along with fresh lemon curd. This is likely to be a very fine wine.
