2018 Cape Margaret Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Spicy red to black currant and mulberry scents emerge, complexed by cedary tobacco characters and a faint whiff of bay leaf. Medium bodied, there’s some spicy capsicum overtones to the red currant and mulberry fruits which are underpinned by dusty cedar and tobacco characters. The acidity is quite vibrant and the tannins dry and slightly chalky resulting in some austerity on the aftertaste.
