Rich black fruits make an opulent entry with mildly chewy tannins and a touch grippy mid length conclusion.
Matured in a mix of French and American oak hogsheads for 12 months. Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Nosing offers up aromas of morello cherry, black cherry and liquorice followed by some vanillin oak, earth and subtle spicy leather notes. Rich black plum, liquorice and ripe black cherry fruits make an opulent entry with notions of earth, vanillin oak, leather and spice trailing off onto the back palate. Mildly chewy tannins with a fleshy yet touch grippy mid length conclusion.
