2018 Az. Agr. F.lli Cigliuti Langhe Nebbiolo

A 100% Nebbiolo from 20-year old vines grown on the Bricco di Neive cru Barbaresco site. Aging takes place in steel tanks for 5 months followed by another five months in Slavonian oak barrels.
Dark red in colour with black tinged edges and a light rusty red like hue. Scents of crushed rose petals, red cherries and spicy raspberries emanate from the glass trailed by earth, dried herbs and a hint of fresh tobacco. Delicious ripe cherry and raspberry fruits decorate the mid weighted palate and are backed by vibrant acidity and stern chalky tannins. Elements of earth, infusions of fresh herbs and spicy tobacco add some rustic charm. Excellent intensity with a long grippy aftertaste.
