Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a purple red hue. Nosing sees scents of dark raspberries, liquorice and dark plum flow out of the glass with spicy earth notes also present. Juicy liquorice, dark raspberry and blackberry fruits have a plump feel with spicy vanillin cedar, earth and blackpepper lying underneath. Velvet like yet structured tannins concluding with medium length. Drink over the next 5-6 years. Alc. 14.5% Other Reviews….. In the groove. Redcurrant and licorice flavours meet fistfuls of woodsy spice. It's generous and well shaped; it offers both quality and value. Licks of tannin here are pretty schmick too.
