Fifty percent of this wine is fermented and aged in mostly new French oak barriques for approximately 8 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Pronounced grapefruit, nectarine and citrus aromas have a toasty oak overlay ending with spicy clove notes. Concentrated ripe nectarine and peach fruits are complimented by toasty oak, roasted almonds and spice. Fleshy mouthfeel finishing dry with a vivid acid freshness. Excellent depth and power with a long vibrantly fruited aftertaste.
