2017 Torbreck The Gask Shiraz

Magnificent pitch black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Sailing out of the glass with great intensity are aromas of black cherry, ripe plum and liquorice with smoky vanillin cedar, earthy fennel like notes and blackpepper ensuing. Rich and bold yet retaining Eden Valley’s trademark elegance and freshness the palate is decorated with mouthfilling flavours of dark plum, black cherries, liquorice and infusions of fennel over a back drop of subtlety smoked vanillin cedar and spicy pepper characters. Vibrant acidity, velvet like yet structural tannins and a long rich yet savoury aftertaste.
