Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep very dark red hue. Aromas of red and black currant infused with bay leaf over shadow some tobacco, dried herb and spice notes. Medium to full bodied with a generous round mouthfeel the palate sports rich red to black currant flavours over tobacco, dried herbs and lingering spicy vanillin cedar characters. Velvet smooth tannins yet sturdy beneath with a medium to long aftertaste.
