2017 Querciabella Mongrana

A blend of 50% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot. Very deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Elevated red to black currant aromas mix with dark cherries, hints of tobacco, fresh herbs and spicy earth. Savoury and medium bodied the palate is amply fruited with spicy red and black currants which show good richness over elements of earthy dried herbs and light tobacco. Grainy tannins and lively acidity provide excellent structure. Slightly dryish aftertaste of medium length.
