2017 Nugan Estate Frasca's Lane Chardonnay

Fermented and then matured in a mixture of new and seasoned French oak barrels for 10 months. Brilliant very pale straw colour with a light tinge of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Lifted ripe peach and tropical fruit aromas combine with traces of citrusy honey, melon and light spice ensuing. Rich peach and tropical fruit flavours sit over a base of toasty vanillin oak, dried honey and spice. Well rounded textural feel finishing with crisp acidity and a fruit driven aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
