Matured in French oak, 25% new. Transparent light rusty red colour. Stalky dried herb scents mix with Morello cherry, hints of sour cherries, light forest floor and spicy cedar. Light supple mouthfeel but without much direction or power, subtle cherry and sour cherry flavours mix with earthy dried herb characters, stalk and spicy cedar. Very fine grained tannins with a modest finish.
