2017 Kooyonga Creek Heathcote Shiraz

Aged in French oak for 12 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Elevated freshly crushed blackberry aromas intermingle with liquorice and dark plum followed by vanillin cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied with an opulent feel the palate is filled with succulent blackberry, plum and liquorice flavours which meld into toasty vanillin oak and spice elements. Excellent depth with lively youthful acidity and velvet like tannins that are still structural enough to provide some grip. Long juicy finish.
