2017 Hugh Hamilton The Oddball Saperavi

Dense inky black in colour with a very deep black dark red hue. Aromas of spicy black plum, liquorice and black cherry show good elevation with vanillin oak, hints of graphite and blackpepper also present. Large scaled and sternly built, chewy black cherry and liquorice fruits are delivered with great richness over an earthy black olive, vanillin cedar, graphite and peppered meat back drop. A firm tannin structure and bright acidity lend grip to the robust finish.
