2017 Grus de Alcohuaz Mezcla Tinta

A blend of 60% Syrah, 13% Garnacha, 12% Petite Sirah and 15% Petit Verdot. Impenetrable inky black colour with a very deep black dark red hue. Intense blackberry, liquorice and black cherry aromas fill the nostrils followed by hints of tobacco, spicy cedar, scorched earth and dried herbs. Luscious and brightly fruited with rich liquorice, blackberry and black cherry flavours sitting over spicy vanilla, some stony characters, subtle dried herbs and pepper. Finishes very fresh with ripe chewy tannins and a focused medium to long aftertaste.
