Matured in French oak for 18 months of which 30% was new. Impenetrable black as night core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Nosing offers up aromatics of blackcurrant, tobacco and subtle black olive over dusty cedar and dried herb notes. Medium bodied the palates blackcurrant fruit has a degree of elegance to it as it gracefully melds into tobacco, black olive, dusty cedar and dried herb elements. Fine grained bony tannins with good freshness and a refined medium to long aftertaste.
    Cellar 5-6 years.
    Alc. 13.5%

30yo vines, whole berries open-fermented, matured for 18 months in French oak (30% new). Very neat medium to full-bodied cabernet with supple tannins, and oak support. Overall length and balance ditto. Blackberry-accented berries/flashes of red fruit and spice. Drink by 2032.
