Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing offers up ripe blackcurrant scents infused with mint followed by cedary tobacco and earthy leather notes. Medium to full in body the palate is driven by rich blackcurrant and plum fruits which morph into cedary tobacco leaf like characters, dried herbs, earthy leather and spice on the back half. Ripe, slightly chewy tannins with a generously weighted medium to long aftertaste.
