2017 Condie The Gwen Shiraz

Matured in a combination of new and used French and American oak for 18 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of plum and aniseed mix with hints of spearmint, vanillin cedar and light peppered earth notes. Lush dark cherry, plum and liquorice fruits are intermeshed with mint, vanillin cedar and spice. Dryish finish with a touch of earth poking through. Sturdily built tannins impart a chalky feel onto the medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
