A blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Inky black in colour with a deep dark red black hue. Aromas of blackcurrant infused with a capsicum and black olive edge are followed by spicy vanillin cedar and earthy tobacco leaf notes. Medium bodied and elegant in its feel, red to black currant fruits are tainted by green vegetive like characters with some black olive, spicy cedar and earthy tobacco characters in the background. Dry slightly austere finish with chalky tannins and a lean aftertaste.
