2017 Chartley Estate Sparkling Rose Methode Traditionnelle

This superb sparkling Rose is a made from a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay with 4 years spent on lees. Pours with a frothy mousse that subsides to reveal a salmon pink coloured base that has a very fine and nibble stream of bubbles flowing through it. Leaping from the glass with fantastic intensity are aromatics of wild strawberry, yeast lees, baked bread, subtle brioche and toast. Delicious strawberry and raspberry fruits combine with yeast lees, baked bread, sherbet and subtle toast. Dry refreshing finish with crisp acidity and a long mouth watering aftertaste.
