Opaque dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright dark red hue. Nosing reveals ripe red to dark cherry and redcurrant aromatics followed by earthy tobacco, dusty cedar and spicy dried herb notes. The elegant medium bodied palate is flavoured with red cherry and red currants over dusty earth, tobacco and spicy dried herbs. Very dry chalky finish with bright acidity and stern tannins. Moderate aftertaste.
