2017 Bull Lane Heathcote Shiraz

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Smoky liquorice, dark plum and subtle clove scents evolve from the glass followed by fennel and pepper notes. Richly flavoured, the palate has good body weight and a fleshy feel with generous dark plum and liquorice fruit presiding over smoky vanillin oak, dried herbs and pepper. Velvety tannins, good depth and a long finish.
Cellar 4-5 years.
