Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinctive glimmer of green to the outskirts and a watery hue. The nose offers up nectarine and peach aromas which morph into subtle honeyed nougat, lemon butter and spice notes. Light in body, fresh, yet possessing a faint creaminess, the palate has flavours of peach, nectarine, grapefruit, faint honey dew, melon and traces of spicy nougat. Finishes dry with vibrant acidity and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
Alc. 13.2%

Other Reviews…..
Estate-grown, hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed, wild-fermented and matured in French oak for 9 months (20% new). Picked at perfect ripeness, white peach, melon and grapefruit all present and correct. No hint of the fearsome Tasmanian acidity. Double-gold San Franciso International Wine Competition '18. Drink by 2024.
