2017 Blacatoo Infinity Shiraz

From 70 year old vines matured in French and American oak. Spectacular inky black in colour with a very deep bright dark red black hue. Pronounced freshly crushed ripe dark plum, blackberry and liquorice scents are interwoven with clove, fennel, some earthiness and spicy pepper notes. Rich and dense yet with an underlying feeling of freshness the palate is awash with luscious blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits which are underpinned by smoky vanillin oak, earthy fennel elements and spice. Bright youthful acidity with polished yet firm tannins and a long vibrant aftertaste.
