2017 Badgers Brook Heathcote Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. The nose expels aromas of ripe dark plum and liquorice followed by vanillin cedar, light earth and spice. Rich blackberry dark plum and liquorice flavours flood the mouth giving it a juicy feel. Vanillin cedar and spicy pepper elements ensue. Ripe slightly chewy tannins and balanced fresh acidity provide a solid structure. Good length with a spicy dark fruited aftertaste that’s littered with traces of blackpepper.
