Opaque dark red black tinged colour with a vibrant dark red hue. Elevated aromas of dark raspberry, plum and liquorice are trailed by vanillin oak and hints of spicy dark chocolate. Medium weight the palate has a soft, plushly textured feel with generous flavours of dark plums, raspberries and liquorice showing ample richness. Vanillin oak and dark chocolate nuances are also evident. Finishes with some spice, velvety tannins and a medium to long aftertaste.
