Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe blackcurrant and a hint of dark chocolate laced with subtle bay leaf are followed by spicy vanillin cedar. Medium to full bodied the palate is generously flavoured with ripe blackcurrants and traces of dark chocolate. Dusty vanillin cedar and spice are also evident. Fine grained, well integrated tannins. Finishes with an aftertaste of blackcurrant, dark chocolate, dusty vanillin cedar and spice.
