2016 Yering Station Pinot Noir

Matured in 500 litre French oak puncheons for 11 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with a light red hue. Showing good elevation and complexity the nose features subtle violet, dark cherry and strawberry scents which meld into anise, forest floor, meaty cedar and spice notes. Light to medium bodied with a supple feel the palate has flavours of spicy ripe dark cherries over nuances of forest floor, dried meats and spicy cedar. Very well integrated, fine grained tannins with a medium to long spicy dark cherry, forest floor, subtle dried meats and spicy cedar aftertaste.
