2016 Swinging Bridge Mrs Payten Chardonnay

Matured in tightly grained French oak for 10 months. Brilliant very pale straw colour with a subtle greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of white peaches and ripe nectarines laced with dried honey are followed by lightly toasted biscuity oak and spice. Light to medium weight with a fresh elegant textural feel, white peach and nectarine flavours, subtlety infused with citrusy dried honey characters are to fore. Traces of biscuity oak and spice are also present. Lively acidity finishing clean and dry with an aftertaste of white peaches, nectarines, citrusy dried honey infusions and subtle spicy biscuit nuances.
