2016 Spy Valley Pinot Gris

Brilliant pale straw colour with a light greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of ripe pears and lychee laced with musk jump out of the glass followed by some rosewater and citrus notes. Rich and lusciously textured with flavours of ripe pears, lychees and musk filling the mouth over nuances of rosewater, subtle Turkish delight and light spice. Excellent fruit intensity and length finishing off dry with vibrant acidity. Long aftertaste of ripe pears, musk, lychees, rosewater and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
