Deep dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright light red hue. The very perfumed nose features violet laced ripe cherry, strawberry and red plum aromatics over vanillin cedar, incense, anise and spicy fresh herbs. Light to medium weight with a supple feel, fantastic richness and terrific power the palate is flooded with violet infused flavours of cherries and strawberries which meld into anise, vanillin cedar, subtle forest floor characters and spice. Finishes with nice bright acidity, sliky tannins and a long moreish aftertaste.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews….
Good depth to the colour; shares the distinctive power and drive of all the top-tier Mornington Peninsula pinots from '16 with red and black cherry fruits contesting front place for this wine, spices evident and will increase with time. Drink by 2027.
