2016 Mandurang Valley Merlot

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a brick red hue. Ripe plummy mulberry like scents are followed by vanillin cedar, earth and spicy dried herb notes. Ripe plum and dark cherry fruit dominates the medium weight palate with an undercurrent of dusty vanillin cedar, dried herbs and spice. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins with good flesh to the mouthfeel and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
