Brilliant straw colour with a watery hue. Lifted aromas of ripe pears, rosewater and red apples overlaid by honeyed characters are followed by traces of musk and ginger spice. A rich, almost lusciously textured palate is enlivened by a burst of fresh acidity on the dry finish. Generous spicy pear and apple flavours infused with dried honey overlay quince and subtle ginger spice. Dry, fresh finish with an aftertaste of spicy pears, apples, subtle dried honey, quince and ginger.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews….
A mid-straw-copper-pink hue and packed with flavour - not too much. The right amount of spiced pears drizzled with honey, creamy lees and grilled nuts. And a neat line of acidity keeping the wine dancing along to a persistent finish. Drink by 2021.
