Bright straw colour with pale gold tinged edges and a watery hue. On the nose pronounced ripe peach and apricot scents laced with honeycomb are followed by light butterscotch, toasty oak and spice notes. Full and rounded, a creamy textural feel is complimented by rich mouthfilling flavours of ripe peaches and apricots which sit over a backdrop of honeycomb, roasted almonds and spicy butterscotch elements. Finishes dry with sufficient acidity for short term drinking. Excellent depth with a long ripe peach, honeycomb, butterscotch, toasty oak and spice aftertaste. California styled Chardonnay on a budget.
