Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Pronounced aniseed, black plum and black cherry aromas intermingle with toasty vanillin oak, earth and hints of spicy raisins. Rich and luscious black plum, liquorice and ripe morello cherry fruits reign over toasty vanillin oak, earth and spicy dried herbs. Ripe, slightly chewy tannins with a long black fruited aftertaste complexed by elements of vanillin oak, earth, dried herbs and a touch of leather.
