2016 Domaine Jaeger Defaix Rully

Semi translucent bright red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. A bouquet of violets, red cherries and red currants bloom from the glass followed by some stony notes, fresh herbs and spice. Showing terrific freshness, the light vibrant palate is layered with red cherry and winter strawberry fruits that meld into infusions of fresh herbs, light forest floor and stony characters. Finishes dry, youthful and crunchy. Polished tannins with an elegant aftertaste that has plenty of vibrancy to it.
