2016 Domaine d'Ourea Gigondas

Made from a blend of 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing offers up aromas of black cherries overlaid by new leather and earth with some liquorice, dried meat and pepper end notes. Medium to full bodied, ripe black cherry and liquorice flavours show good richness over a back drop of black raspberries, scorched earth, herbs du Provence, leather and spicy pepper. Ripe chewy tannins with good freshness on the medium to long aftertaste.
